At the Dobkin Criminal Law Center, we believe in protecting the rights and welfare of each and every individual. Every person has the right to stand up to his or her accusers and to have his day in court. We have dedicated our professional lives to helping people and corporations receive the full benefit of the laws and constitutions created for their protection.

Our mission and commitment is to stand united by a deep belief in the fundamental tenets of the American justice system and in the integrity and independence of the judiciary. This firm provides competent advocacy and compassionate representation. Our genuine concern for our clients is what motivates us. As much as humanly possible, we try to do everything we can to make your experience with the legal process free from emotional and personal frustrations. Our cases frequently come to us from attorney referrals and individual inquiries. Although we would like to accept every single case, we are not able to do so. For those cases which the firm does accept, we make the following commitments:

1. Direct access to your lawyer. You have direct access to Mr. Dobkin. Many firms rely solely on other people to get the job done. We feel that you should always be able to have communication with the person in charge of your matter.

2. Responsible, accessible representation. We are here when you need us. The lawyer and staff are never more than a phone call, fax, or e-mail away. Your phone calls, faxes, and e-mails will be promptly addressed.

3. Frequent client communication. We pledge to keep you informed of the progress of your case and we will communicate with you on a regular basis before, during, and after your case is concluded. You will receive copies of everything that is filed in court which, in turn, will cut down your anxiety level and reduce the amount of calls you have to make to our office.

4. Competent work ethic. My pledge is that I will work long and hard on your behalf to achieve the best possible result for you. However, some clients cannot “see the forest for its trees,” but the best possible result will be explained to you even if it involves something other than a full-blown jury trial. We are always involved in ongoing education beyond the minimum Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements of The Florida Bar.

5. Experience. This firm has had over 23 years of litigation experience. Mr. Dobkin has written articles and lectured before professional organizations, local colleges, junior colleges, legal organizations, and civic organizations.

6. Leadership. Mr. Dobkin has been actively engaged with local public schools, junior colleges, and universities and frequently participates in mock trials and moot court activities. He has been an active member of many bar associations and has held offices in many of them. He has also donated his time in delivering services pro bono for local and charitable organizations with pre-approved clients.
