Q. Do you give phone consultations?
A.
In certain instances, Mr. Dobkin will give an out-of-state potential
client a telephone consultation if they truly reside outside of the
State of Florida. However, Mr. Dobkin prefers to give in-office consultations.
He feels that a client should be as serious about their matter as he
is about representing them. Therefore, if a client is serious, they
will set aside the time to come into the office. Furthermore, Mr. Dobkin
feels uncomfortable speaking about sensitive issues telephonically
where privacy and confidentiality may be lost or intercepted. We care
about our clients and want to give them our undivided attention and
provide them with the best quality of service.
Q. Does Mr. Dobkin charge a
consultation fee?
A. The Dobkin Criminal Law Center normally
charges a consultation fee, except in circumstances where the client
has reached us through a specific organization or referral source.
However, if you decide to hire us to represent you in your particular
matter, we will merge the consultation fee into the retainer that
you are quoted. In other words, the fee will be deducted from the
initial retainer fee and, in the end, the consultation did not cost
you anything. Mr. Dobkin believes that serious people who have a
compelling matter will have no problem understanding that he is entitled
to be compensated for his time and advice since they are valuable
to the client. The Dobkin Criminal Law Center can only represent
those who have the desire and financial ability to compensate us
for services rendered and costs incurred.
Q. Will my case be handled personally
by Mr. Dobkin?
A. Yes, all cases are handled personally
by Mr. Dobkin. We believe in giving personalized and professional
legal services. We do not "farm
out" work to other attorneys as others might do.
Q. What methods of payment are accepted?
A. We accept cash, personal checks (with valid I.D.), cashier's checks,
money orders, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover,
and Diners Club cards.
Q. Do you accept payment plans for payment
of fees?
A. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment plans. However, we do accept
credit cards which offer you the ease and flexibility of monthly payments.
